Firewall Implementation
Dataway provides full service firewall configuration and client installation services. Our security engineers work with your staff to develop a security policy and network topology. We can work with your outside vendors such as ISPs and web developers to assure a working policy that minimizes network down-time during installation. Upon reaching agreement over both the security policy and topology, Dataway pre-builds the firewall using scripts and check sheets at our Security Operations Center (SOC). This allows Dataway to maintain a high level of quality assurance. During this stage the OS is hardened, TCP/IP throughput is optimized and management scripts are installed. Upon successful testing, the security policy is pre-loaded before physical installation. Installation is performed by Dataway engineers from one of our two SOC locations. Dataway engineers will be deployed on-site if necessary. Firewalls can be monitored by our security staff on a 24x7 basis for thirty (30) days following installation. Our security staff can monitor network connections and firewall logs for signs of unauthorized probes of client networks. Firewall events are logged and appropriate action is taken. Our security engineers are well versed and experienced in various types of attacks, ensuring quick and effective resolution. |
