Dataway Shared Managed Service
This option is geared toward clients with an
existing security staff who will manage their firewall
but are looking for an "Insurance Policy" to guard
against extensive downtime. This service is similar
to Full Managed Services in that it is 24x7. However, it
is reactive, not proactive. Clients looking for full,
proactive monitoring and support should purchase the
Full Managed Service.
When you are faced with a critical situation and would like backup support
you can call Dataway 24 x 7, and our certified security experts will
troubleshoot the problem with you.
Features and Benefits Include:
- A comprehensive Service Level Agreement (SLA), with tightly defined response
times.
- 24 x 7 x 365 response to network down emergencies.
- All network access points are managed centrally via
strongly authenticated encrypted channels.
- Proprietary network security methodologies ensure
consistency, accuracy and clarity in the ongoing
troubleshooting of customer issues and communication
thereof.
- Quarterly policy review and proactive patching as
required.
- Quarterly network review and change control
documentation.
Requirements Include:
- Dataway must have built the client's security
infrastructure.
- Client must assign at least two Network Security
Contacts.
- The Network Security Contact must attend software
security training and have a minimal level of security engineering experience.
The client must also attend Check Point
training and Stonebeat training where necessary.
- The Network Security Contact must attend a monthly
2 hour documentation section to communicate current
network status and policy changes.
- Client must be responsible for maintaining updated
documentation and network maps. Client is responsible
for delivering updated documentation to Dataway
whenever changes occur.
