Dataway Wins Stonesoft's Reseller of the Year Award
July 2000 - Dataway, the Dublin and San Francisco-based Internet security consultancy, this week received the Reseller of the Year 2000 award from Stonesoft Corporation, manufacturer of the world-leading StoneBeat high-availability firewall solutions for mission-critical Internet and e-commerce services, at its Annual Partner Conference held in Nice, France. Dataway specializes in providing high availability managed virtual private networks (VPNs) and security solutions for financial institutions, online brokerages, and international corporations. Dataway manages these installations on a 24x7 hour basis. Dataway, which was founded in 1993 by two Irish expatriate network engineers, employs thirty five people worldwide. The company's European headquarters are in Dublin. "This award recognizes Dataway's technical expertise and commercial leadership in providing our clients with highly resilient e-business security solutions", commented Dataway Co-founder, Eoghan O'Neill. The Stonesoft Reseller of the Year award follows other recent successes achieved by Dataway, including one from Check Point Software Technologies, the leading firewall software manufacturers, who awarded Dataway its 1998 Excellence Award for best worldwide implementation of a Virtual Private Network.
